James Edward Ellison Sr.

James Edward Ellison Sr., age 71 of Dayton, passed away Thursday, May 28, 2020 at Gem City Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. He was born June 9, 1948 in Montgomery, Alabama, the son of the late Edward and Luella Ellison.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Anthony Ellison; granddaughter, Chantell Wilcox; and sister, Betty Jean Ellison.
James is survived by his children, Lisa Ellison, James Ellison, Jr., Jason Ellison Sr.; a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren; siblings, Barbara Evans, Harvey Ellison, Dwight Ellison; as well numerous other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 5, 2020 from 10 am to 11 am at Newcomer North Chapel (4104 Needmore Road, Dayton). Funeral Service will begin at 11 am.
