James Edward Ross

ROSS, James "Jim", age 53, passed away on Monday, January 10, 2011. He was preceded in death by his parents, William E. and Joan M. Ross and sister, Ruthie Moser.

Jim was a father, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, great uncle, and friend, who leaves behind his sons, Jim Jr. and Michael Ross, and their mother, Sheryl Ross; brothers, William Jr. (Donna) Ross, Frank (Kim) Ross, many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews, as well, as many friends.

In his prime, he was an enthusiastic T-ball coach. Jim was an avid sports fan, especially when it came to his sons' baseball games. He also retired from GM after 15 years of service. He was a Beavercreek High School graduate, Class of 1975 and recent graduate of Kaplan College for Computer Programming and Repair.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, January 20, 2011 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek. Interment will follow at Miami Valley Memory Gardens. Family will receive friends from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm on Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at the funeral home.
