PARRISH, James Edward, age 72, Beavercreek, passed away with his wife of 51 years and five daughters by his side on Tuesday, March 24, 2009. He was born May 24, 1936 in Zanesville, OH, the son of George and Alyce (Carey) Parrish. He was a 1958 graduate of the University of Dayton and 1967 graduate of Ohio State University with a Master of Science Degree. He was past president of the Southern Ohio Rubber Group, the Society of Automotive Engineers, the Woodhaven Swim and Tennis Club, the President Valley School PTO, member of Quail Run Tennis Club, Volunteered as the Carroll High School swim coach for 10 years, and was past president of Inland Retirees. He is survived by his wife, Linda Parrish; five daughters, Marcie (Brad) Breese of Washington Twp, Tricia (Andy) Powers of Mason, OH, CeeCee (Jimmy) Collins of Loveland, OH, Cari (Patrick) Higgins of Xenia, OH, and Serena (Jeremy) Thompson of Beavercreek, OH; 15 grandchildren, Cassie, Jordan, Kelsey, Alexis, TJ, Jesse, Morgan, Drew, Cameron, Nate, Calvert, Kari, Max, Sam, and John-Michael; one sister, Judy Daniels; four brothers, Michael, Tom, Bill, and Dan Parrish; and his RAPP family. He is preceded in death by both parents; one daughter and son. Visitation will be held Friday, March 27, 2009 from 5-8 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, March 28, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Luke Catholic Church in Beavercreek with Father Ken Schartz celebrant.
