Age 76, of Tipp City, passed away Friday, July 25, 2008.
He was preceded in death by one son, Matthew; and by one brother, William.
Jim is survived by his wife, Judy Stoffregen; five children, James Jr (Michelle) & their children Natalie, Rachel, and Trevor, Steve, Angie & her children, Aaron and Nina, Julie (Steve) & their children, Morgan and Matt, and Cathy & her children Stephanie and Jocelyn; one sister, Mary (Don); Judy's children, Shelly (Mike) & their children Kevin & Jonathan, Tracie (Scott), Lori (Mark) & their children Olivia & Emma.
Jim was a United States Army veteran having served during the Korean Conflict. During that time he was a prisoner-of-war and a recipient of the Purple Heart. He volunteered for many years as a firefighter for Washington Township.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
