Hartzell, James E. "Jim", 69, of Dayton, passed away Thursday, May 12, 2016.
He was a Proud Navy Veteran and was employed at Crown Beverage for many years. Jim loved to fish and enjoyed taking meticulous care of his yard and working on cars. He also did missionary work in Honduras.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Catherine, mother-in-law, Wanda Harris, and brother-in-law, Larry Minzey.
Jim is survived by his wife of 38 years, Pam Hartzell; his 4 children, Rob(Laura), Steve, Mike(Kim), Taylor; grandchildren, Chelsea(Barry), Elizabeth, Quentin, Isabella, Ethan; great grandchildren, Hailey and Hunter; and his brothers, sisters , in-laws, and nieces and nephews

Visitation 9:30 to 10:30am Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home 4104 Needmore Rd, where funeral service will follow at 10:30am, with Pastor Chris Todd officiating. Burial at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
