James E. Berry, age 88, of Miamisburg went home to be with the Lord Friday, September 28, 2012.
He was born May 10, 1924 in Bon Jellico, KY to the late Emmett & Josephine Berry. Jim served in the Air Force during WWII. He worked at NCR for over 40 years. Jim was a member of the West Carrollton Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by 6 brothers and 2 sisters.
Jim is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Phronia Berry; daughters, Sharron Berry and Donna (John) Shirk; 5 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Penny Randall; brother Carl Berry; and many other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, October 2, 2012 from 10-11am at Newcomer Funeral Home South Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439). The service will follow at 11am, with Brother Mike Grushon officiating. Burial will take place at Heritage Hills Memory Gardens.
