James Doyal McCormick
Age 82, of Huber Heights, passed away Thursday, February 25, 2010, at Hospice of Dayton.
Doyal is survived by his wife of the past 63 years, Rhea (Rose) McCormick; four children, Curtis (Deanna) McCormick, Sheila (Don) Myers, Layne (Cheryl) McCormick & Leasa (Bill) Begley; one brother, Robert McCormick; two sisters, Opal (Gene) Mohr & Dixie (Robert) Parks; ten grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and by his extended family & many dear friends.
Doyal was a member of the Huber Heights Church of God where he was a former Trustee & Sunday School teacher. He retired from NCR with 28 years of service and then went on to work at Tecumseh Products for 13 years in Somerset, KY. Doyal was also a veteran of the U. S. Army.
The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m., Monday (3/1) at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, at the Huber Heights Church of God, 6900 Brandt Pike. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Englewood, Ohio.
The family suggests that contributions be made in memory of Doyal to Hospice of Dayton.
