James D. Dinsmoor, age 77 of Kettering, passed away August 8, 2020. He was born August 22, 1942 in Dayton, Ohio. Jim was preceded in death by his father, Duke Dinsmoor; and mother, Mary Susan McGucken.
Jim is survived by his wife, Kay Dinsmoor; children: Greg, Nick, Katie, David, Christine and Brian; 10 grandchildren; mother-in-law, Jennie Bacelieri; and numerous other family members and dear friends.
Jim was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, Vietnam War. He worked at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base; and retired after many years of service in the auto shop and Air Force Museum. Jim was an avid car-racer and he loved his dogs, Molly and Harley.
A memorial service will be held at 12:00 pm on Saturday, August 22, 2020 at West Carrollton Nazarene Church, 550 South Elm Street, West Carrollton. Contributions may be made in Jim's memory to any Veteran's organization.
