James A. Dille

June 25, 1958 — June 26, 2023

James Anthony Dille, 65, of Waynesville, OH, passed away on Monday, June 26, 2023. He was born on Wednesday, June 25, 1958 in Dayton, OH as the youngest son of Dr. Charles A. Dille and Evelyn E. (Fitzwater) Dille.

Jim, by those close to him, will be remembered as such an amazing man, friend, husband, dad, and pops/grandpa. He spent majority of his life, passionately, being the greatest Farmer of Sweet Arrow Farm, his true home. After moving, Jim went on to become a local arborist, and a damn good one at that. Jim was an expert to a ridiculous amount of trades, had an affinity for motorcycles (aka: crotch rockets) and a huge love for music especially some good old Emerson, Lake, & Palmer. He has always been a tough and hard-headed person, yet it was so easy to get him to laugh at the dumbest jokes. His wife and children were his entire world and he had such a soft spot for them, even after poking fun at him. He believed food was the way to his heart so you can bet he never turned his nose up to anything, mainly watermelon. Hiding your plate from him before he grabbed a bite could've been considered an Olympic sport. He will truly be missed, not only for the great man he was, but also for the memories that he left behind and ones that he would've made.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife and best friend, Beverly; children: Andy (Tressa), Sam Chandler (Cole), Sydney Dille-Pauley (Jon), Matt, Katie, Becky, Abbey, Hannah, Jacob and Penny Coats; grandchildren: Henley, Emersyn, Elliot, Wyatt, and Alexander.

Services will be held in Bath Township at Byron Cemetery on Thursday, July 6, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. Cemetery located at 3256 Trebein Road Fairborn, OH 45324.

Casual attire is preferred.
