James Davis

DAVIS, James E. "Monk", 48, of Dayton passed away Friday November 14, 2008 at Springcreek Nursing Center. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Elwood and Hazel Harner and father Robert L. Davis. James is survived by his mother and step father Wanda and Rocky Lindsey; sisters Sandra (Kenneth) Johns and April Wheeler; brothers Ronald (Pat) Davis, Michael (Theresa) Davis, and Donnie Lindsey; numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends, including childhood friends "fishing buddies" Chuck and Tommy Meyers. A memorial service will be held 2:00PM Saturday, November 22, 2008 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd. Family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Springcreek Nursing Center, Activities Dept., 5440 Charlesgate Rd., Huber Heights, Ohio 45424 and Southern Care, 3077 Kettering Blvd Suite 100, Moraine Ohio 45439.
