James D."Jim" Haney

James D. Haney "Jim", age 82 of Morning Sun, went to his Heavenly home December 1, 2015 at 1:33 PM. He was born May 12, 1933 in Dayton to his late mother, Susan E. Haney.
He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Jane; 3 sons, James, Timothy and David; 1 daughter, Roxane; 14 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren.
Jim worked for over 50 years at McCalls-Dayton Press. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle for many years. Jim was a great sportsman, having coached years in baseball and football. He was an avid gardener and enjoyed cooking for his family.
If someone needed help, Jim was there. He was willing to help anyone. You name it, he could do it. Jim was an all around wonderful man. Loved by all, and will be sadly missed.
Family will receive friends from 12:30 to 2:00 PM on Monday, December 7, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home, North Chapel. Burial will immediately follow the viewing at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the family to help offset funeral expenses.
