James Cowan

COWAN, James, L., 57 of Englewood passed away Friday May 13, 2005 at Hospice of Dayton. He was preceded in death by his Parents, Wendell and Marvel Cowan. He is survived by his wife Mickie, two daughters Lisa Slaton and Ryan Ladd, two sons Jason Cowan and Ron Ladd, Brother Raymond (Mary) Cowan, sister Bernice (James) Midlam and five Grandchildren. Jim was a local Blues Singer with The MoJo Kings, Powerful Stuff, and Hot Across Texas. Jim was happiest while performing on stage with his fellow musicians. A Memorial Service will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd. Thursday May 19, 2005 at 6:00 P.M., with a visitation an hour prior the same day.
