James "Jim" F. Clemmer, age 69, of Miamisburg, OH passed away Friday, September 13, 2013.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Wilbur and Lillian Clemmer; birth mother, Delores Creech; and brother, Richard Sealy.
Jim is survived by his wife of 42 years, Andrea; children, Mark, William (Stephanie) and John (Julie); grandchildren, Christopher, Ashley, Nathanial, Gabrielle, Emma, Sarah, Claire, and A.J.; siblings, Charles D. Faires, Tina Sell, and Patti Testa; and numerous other family members.
Jim is a US Army veteran serving during the Vietnam War, a life member of VFW Post 3283 and MOC Pup Tent 83 of Huber Heights, OH. He volunteered at the Dayton National VA Hospital for more than 20 years helping his fellow veterans.
Visitation is Wednesday September 18, 2013 from 5pm to 7pm with funeral service on Thursday September 19, 2013 starting at 11am at the Newcomer Funeral Home (South Chapel), Kettering, OH.
Interment is in Dayton National Cemetery, Dayton, OH.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Dayton VA Hospice Unit in his honor.
