James "Curt" Bush, 83, of Fairborn, passed away October 11, 2017. James was born in Hazard, KY on February 4, 1934 to the late Shade and Alma Bush. James retired from Hohman Plating after 58 years of service. In his free time he enjoyed working on cars, fixing watches, woodworking, playing guitar and spending time with family.
In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his loving wife, Geneva Bush; brothers, Sam Boy Bush, Bill Bush; sister, Christine Smith; and grandson, Jason Hoffman.
He is survived by his daughters, Darlene (Caryl) Slack, Sandra (Doug) Campbell; grandchildren, Douglas (Kylie) Campbell, Jessica (Caleb) Boles, Pamela Campbell, Bryan Campbell; great grandchildren, BreAnna Spaethe, Timothy Spaethe, Dustin Hoffman, Heather Hoffman, Ronan Campbell, Alexis Betton, Daisy Campbell-Miller, Abigail Boles; sister, Barbara (Huwe) West; as well as many other relatives and special friends.
A visitation will be held from 10 - 11 am on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek, where funeral services will begin at 11am. Burial will follow at Byron Cemetery, Fairborn.
