James R. Buddendeck

James R. Buddendeck, age 62, of Kettering, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 26, 2017 at home.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Aloys & Rita Buddendeck and brothers, Stanley and Gerald Buddendeck.
He is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Kathy Buddendeck; sisters & brother-in-laws, Mary & Fred Kaiser, of Beavercreek and Carol & Don Fox, of Villa Hills, KY; brothers & sister-in-laws, Virgil R. & Bonnie, of Centerville, Paul J. & Barbara, of Centerville, Mark H. & Pat, of Rochester, NY and Carol Buddendeck, of NY; son, John C. Butts, of Dayton; daughter & son-in-law, Michelle & Steve Walls, of Miamisburg; and grandchildren, Austin Butts, Chase Rich, Kayla Walls, Ashley Walls and Adam Walls; numerous nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.
Jim was a graduate of Chaminade H.S. and Wright State University. He retired from GKN/Stromag Inc., after 31 years of service.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 1, 2017 from 5-8pm at Newcomer Funeral Home South Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday, July 2, 2017 at 10:30am at Holy Angels Catholic Church (1322 Brown St, Dayton, OH 45409). Jim will be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery.
