James Robert Bryant, age 75 of Dayton, Ohio, passed away Saturday, March 28, 2020. He was born March 6, 1945 in Dry Creek, West Virginia to the late Reuben and Lilly Bryant.
James retired from RTA after 20 years. James was a wonderful family man. He was kind, compassionate, hard-working and was a friend to everybody that knew him. He loved gardening, the outdoors, and spending time with his family. He always had a pet and loved dogs. James will be dearly missed by everyone who knew him.
In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his son, Mark James Bryant.
James will be missed by his wife of 57 years, Sherrill; daughter, Darla Patterson; four grandchildren Josh James Bryant, Jake Mark Bryant, Morgan Lucille Patterson and Parker Eugene Patterson; one great-grandson, Lucas James Hill; only surviving brother, Thomas (Janice) Bryant; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Due to the concerns surrounding COVID-19, all services will be private.
