Brown, James W., Jr. "Jimmy", age 70, of Dayton, passed away July 21, 2017.
He was born November 29, 1946 in Zanesville, Ohio to the late James W. Brown Sr. and Vivian Brown. Jimmy loved watching football especially the Cleveland Browns. He also enjoyed fishing and reading and his best friend "Gabby", a Parrot whom he rescued from the roof of his house.
In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his 2 sisters, Penny and Vicki. He is survived by his beloved wife of 44 years, Shirley Anita (Green) Brown; brothers, Harry Harper, Frank Brown and wife, Jo Ellen, sister, Widney Brown; cousin, Jimmy Ongel and wife, Tammi, and many other relatives and friends.
Jim was one of the kindest people you would ever know and never said a bad word about anyone. He will be deeply missed.
A gathering of friends and family will be Wednesday, August 9, 2017 from 6:00pm until 7:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, South Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd., where memorial service will follow at 7:00pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Epilepsy Foundation in Jimmy's memory.
