James Brewer

Brewer, James V. "Jay", 68, of Dayton passed away Sat., July 30 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born in Bourbon County, Kentucky. He was preceded in death by his parents Critt and Irene Brewer and grandparents, his sister Betty Francis, and granddaughter Wendy Cottrill. Survivors include his wife Rebecca, 3 sons Jamie (Vera) Cottrill, Donald (Rita) Cottrill, Robert (Imi) Cottrill all from Dayton, 4 daughters Joyce (Danny) Leach of Dayton, Nadine (Ben) Puckett of Goshen, Debby (Ray) Gray-Dukich, and Lori (Scott) Edwards both of Dayton, one brother Wade (Karen) Brewer of Mt. Sterling, 17 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and a host of loving friends, nieces, and nephews. Services are scheduled for 7PM Wed., Aug 3 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd. in Dayton with Pastor Tim Winton officiating. Family will receive friends from 5-7PM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
