James Blankenship

December 20, 1962 — September 22, 2022

James Lee Blankenship, 59, of Dayton, passed away on September 22, 2022 at his residence. He was born on December 20, 1962 in West Liberty, KY to Bernal and Dianna Blankenship.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, George Blankenship and Artie Blankenship; his maternal grandparents, Stanley Lewis and Bernice Lewis; and many other family members.

James is survived by his parents, Bernal and Dianna Blankenship; his former wife, Rita Trusty; his daughter, Andrea Trusty and one brother, Dalbert Blankenship. James is also survived by numerous family and friends.

James graduated from Carlisle High School and was employed as a janitor for several years with Carlisle schools. James is well loved and will be deeply missed by all those who knew.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Flowerama in Kettering, OH.

Visitation will be held from 1 pm to 2 pm on Thursday, September 29, 2022 at Newcomer Funeral Home-South Chapel located at 3940 Kettering Blvd. Kettering, Ohio 45439. Funeral Services will be officiated by Pastor Joe Getts following the visitation at 2 pm.

James final resting place will be at Highland Memorial Cemetery.
