James R. Benson, age 91, of Moraine, OH passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on Sunday May 18, 2014.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Jean Benson; children, Linda (Duane) Wampler, Jeanne (Tom) Olkosky, Diane Elza, Terry (Robin) Benson, Kimberly (Jim) Dapore, Kelly (Richard) Jordan, and Tina Benson; 12 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 1 great great-granddaughter; brothers, Wayne, William, Charles, and Wilbur Benson; sister, Laura Brest; and many nieces and nephews.
Jim was a US Army veteran serving during WWII.
Visitation is Thursday May 22, 2014 from 1pm to 2pm with funeral service starting at 2pm at the Newcomer Funeral Home (South Chapel), Kettering, OH.
Pastor Henry Watts Jr. is officiating.
Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, West Carrollton, OH.
