James B. Tacey "Jimmy", age 60 of Riverside, passed away July 19, 2016. He was born July 6, 1956 in Flint, MI.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his father, Alfred Tacey; step-father, Edward Bain; brothers: Randy Tacey and Boyd Tacey; and sister, Jeannie Brooks.
Jimmy is survived by his mother, Shirley Bain; wife, Ellen Tacey; children: Jason (Wendy) Tacey, Charity Alexander, Jessica (Seth) Stafford, Shane Tacey and Chelsea Tacey; grandchildren: Sierra, Destiny, Aiden, Gunnar, Kashius, Selah, Emilien, Brooke, Maci, Abigail, Ethan, McKenna and Myla; numerous brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Jimmy loved the outdoors, especially fishing.
He was an aircraft welder, but most importantly Jimmy was a loving husband and a wonderful father and grandfather. He was an avid Cincinnati Bengals fan.
A gathering of family and friends will take place on Saturday, July 23, 2016 from 12:00 - 12:45 pm at New Covenant Church of God, 4905 Springfield Street, Riverside. A memorial service will begin at 12:45 pm. Rev. Tim Bartee officiating. Arrangements by Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road.
