James M. Atkins

James M. Atkins, "Jim", age 55 of Dayton, reunited with his wife, Sharon L. Atkins on October 21, 2016. He was born July 30, 1961 in Dayton to the late Gordon R. and Mildred M. (Best) Atkins.
He is survived by his daughters, Christina (Marco) Salas, Katherine Atkins and Tara Atkins; granddaughter, Serenity Salas; brother, Michael W. Atkins; nieces and nephews, Erin, Hayley, Cassidy, Christopher and Kyle; numerous extended family and friends.
Jim worked and retired from Dayton Fire Station Company 15 as a firefighter. He enjoyed bowling and coaching Christina's little league team. Jim was an avid reader, sports enthusiast and a Dungeons & Dragons Master. He was very outgoing with all his interests.
In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to The Hospice of Dayton and/or the Kidney Foundation, in Jim's memory.
