ARP, James T. "Jim" age 74 of Kettering, passed away Friday, April 14, 2006 at Kettering Memorial Hospital. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Wanda. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 7 years, Sandy, his children Jimmy and wife Jennifer Arp, Douglas and wife Teresa Arp, Crystal and husband Jimmy Haning; stepchildren Scott and wife Shelly Barton, Lisa and Forrest Jones, Bruce and wife Samantha Staub; 13 grandchildren; loving companion Mi-Shay; and a host of other relatives and friends. James served our country in the US Navy during the Korean War. He retired from the City of Dayton. James was the founding member of the Tru-Lite Gospel Singers and very active in gospel music and preaching in the Dayton area for many years. He was an avid amateur radio operator "WA8CDD". Funeral services will be 11:00 am Tuesday, April 18, 2006 at Dayton Christian Union Church 1718 Rausch Ave., Dayton, with Rev. Roy Truman and Rev. Kenny Shiveley officiating.
