Jalene Lovelace, age 47, of Dayton, OH and formerly of Indianapolis, IN, fell asleep in death on Tuesday, March 9, 2021. Jalene was born in Manhattan, NY on April 24, 1973 to Rolanda Curry and the late James Johnson.
She is survived by her loving husband of 9 years, Larry Lovelace; sister, Natika Washington and her husband, Chet; nieces and nephews, Jerome Valentine, Dominic Valentine, Victoria Valentine, Bo Washington; Uncles, Jimmy and Ronald Lovelace; mother & father-in-law, Charlotte & Russell Higgins; sister-in-law, Ashley Higgins and many other relatives and friends.
Jalene Lovelace worked as a Spanish Teacher for many years, later her Spanish speaking ability was used to assist Latin speaking customers at CVS. However, after resigning her position at CVS she focused on being a fulltime Pioneer as one of Jehovah's Witness until her health prevented her from continuing. Serving Jehovah was her GREATEST joy. She had a bible in every room of her house. Everyone she conversated with would be uplifted and given a simple scripture to ponder on. She always had a positive outlook on everything even though she had so many challenges.
She never stopped expressing her love to her family and friends, always emphasizing how much she loved and appreciated them. If you met Jalene, when you left the conversation, you felt better… She will be loved and missed until the promised world New World were death will be no more Revelation 21:3 & 4.
The celebration of Jalene Lovelace's life will be held Sunday March 14th at 5pm Via Zoom.
