Jaimie K. Layne, age 57 of Moraine, passed away Sunday, October 1, 2023 at Miami Valley Hospital. He was born September 11, 1966 in Shelbyville, Tennessee the son of John and Sandra Carson.
He is preceded in death by his father, John Layne; aunt, Vivian Twilley; and lifelong friend, Willie Mulberry.
Jaimie is survived by his mother, Sandra (Theodore) Carson; brother, Kendall (Vondelia) Layne; sister, Alisa (RC) White; and friend, JR. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
He enjoyed cooking, baking, traveling, and attending concerts. The most important thing to Jamie was his family and friends. He is loved and will be deeply missed.
The family hopes those who would like to honor him will find a quiet time to remember who he was in your life and be thankful for the time you had together. At this time, individual families are encouraged to honor his memory by having his favorite meal, a steak dinner.
