Jacob Spencer Scoby (30) of Xenia, passed away unexpectedly on May 26, 2022. He was born on July 4, 1991 in Nashville, TN as the son of Terrin Scoby and William Scoby.
He was preceded in death by his Grandmother, Charlene Denny of Xenia.
Those left to cherish his memory are his Mother, Terrin Scoby of Xenia; and his Father William (Michelle) Scoby of Mt. Juliet, TN. His Daughter, Ellie May Scoby of Xenia, and his Nephew, Liam Scoby of Spain. His Brothers, Max (Laura) Scoby of Spain, Jhett Peck of Xenia, Dakota (Emily) Scoby and Trey (Hailey) Scoby of Mt. Juliet, TN. His Grandparents, Ronnie and Loraine Rotroff of Hermitage, TN, and Dwight Fultz of Xenia. His Aunts, Tiffini Johnston (Jason) of Troy, Tamara Hicks of Alpha, OH, Jamie (Chris) Wilhite, and Jessica Rotroff of Mt. Juliet, TN. His Cousins, Jackson, Chloe, and Henry; Austin, Ally, and Ava; Jordyn, Dalton, Braydon, and Knox; Breanna, Cody, and Madison. Jacob also leaves behind Special Friends Levi Johnson, Lance Roberts, Jeffrey Cannady, Tyler Williams, Nate Huelseman, and Kayla Coates.
Jacob Scoby was born on a 4th of July, and fireworks will keep shining in the sky throughout the country in his memory. Jacob was a 2010 graduate of Xenia High School, where he very much enjoyed playing football, baseball, and basketball. Following High School, Jacob attended Sinclair Community College. Jacob used his knowledge and expertise in baseball to help coach his younger brother, Jhett to become a great baseball pitcher, which was one of Jake's proudest moments. Jake was a devoted father to his daughter Ellie, his most precious thing in life. Jake had an unmistakable laugh, and a captivating personality that made you want to be around him. He had an unmatched sense of humor that could make you laugh at second's notice.
In keeping with Jacob's wishes, there will be a Celebration of Life, with all of his friends and family, on Friday, June 3rd from 4pm to 7pm, at the Buck and Ear located in Xenia, OH.
