Jacob Matthew Ledbetter

Jacob Matthew Ledbetter, "Jake," age 40 of Dayton, passed away Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at Miami Valley Hospital. He was born December 29, 1979 in Dayton, Ohio, the son of Jack Ledbetter and Jane Bruns.
He is preceded in death by his son, Jacob Ledbetter; brother, Kelly Ledbetter; and cousin, Larry Hounshell.
Jake is survived by his daughters, Haley Ann Ledbetter, Heidi Jane Ledbetter, Emma Grace Ledbetter; mother, Jane (Wally) Bruns; father, Jack (Kathy) Ledbetter; former wife and mother of his children, Kimberly Ledbetter; as well as numerous other relatives and many friends.
Jake loved to play golf and was an avid Cincinnati Bengals fan. He was also a member of VFW Post 9936, where he was arguably the best dart player in Dayton. He also had a wonderful voice and enjoyed singing karaoke.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 2, 2020 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Newcomer North Chapel (4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, Ohio 45424). Funeral service will begin at 7:00 pm.
