September 24, 1941 — November 25, 2014

LINDSEY, Jackie Carlyle, age 73, of Centerville went to meet her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 after a long battle of Alzheimer's disease.

Jackie was still residing with her daughter, Penny and son-in-law, Mark Wenning at the time of her passing. Jackie was born in Whiteville, NC, and grew up in Jacksonville, NC. She was a graduate of Jacksonville H.S. Class of 1959. Jackie and her family transferred to Ohio in 1975 and she attended the Dayton School of Practical Nursing to become an LPN. She worked for Kettering Medical Center for approx. 20 years and retired from nursing at Kettering Youth Services. She was also a member of Southminster Presby Church. Jackie was a devoted member of the Order of Eastern Star Victory Chapter #410 that she had joined May 2, 1977. She served as worthy Matron in 1998, was also a member of White Shrine of Jerusalem.

She was preceded in death by her Mother, Penny Carlyle; Brother, Benny Carlyle; Father, Roger Carlyle; and the love of her life and Husband, Daryl Scott Lindsey.

Jackie is survived by her Sisters, Robbie Schneeberger and Margie (Roger) Penrod; 3 Children, Gene (Angela) Jarman Jr., Penny (Mark) Wenning and Jack (Tammy) Jarman; Grandchildren, Brandon Jarman Kinlin, Maranda Jarman and Nicholas Jarman; 6 Nieces; 4 Nephews; and many other relatives and friends.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 27, 2014 at 11am at the Presidential Banquet Center.
