Jackie Lee "J.L." Giles
Age 56, of Dayton, passed away Friday, August 12, 2011, at the UVMC in Troy.
J.L. was preceded in death by his father, Jasper Lee Giles.
J.L. is survived by his mother, Fidelia (Walker) Foster; his wife of the past 15 years, Joan "Jess" L. Donnelly; his companion of the past seven years, Elizabeth Guild; one daughter, Amie Heather (Ben) Blandford; one grandson, Samuel Augusten Blandford; two brothers, Kenneth Wayne (Penny) & Terry Wayne (Robin) Giles; and by his nephews, niece, extended family & many loving friends.
J.L. was an ordained minister with the Universal Life Church and performed many weddings and ceremonies. He was also co-founder and leading spirit of Sterling Shadow Club for 10 years.
The family will be receiving friends TODAY from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton. Memorial services will follow at 3:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, contributions should be made in memory of J.L. to The Hospice of Dayton, BRAVO-Ohio.org, or the Leather Archives & Museum.
