Jack Woodman was born in Newburyport, Massachusetts on October 21, 1944 to Gloria Sheehan Steele. His father is unknown at this time because he abandoned Jack and Gloria when Jack was just a toddler. In 1944 it was basically unheard of to be a single mother, so Gloria moved to Ohio to live with Jack's grandparents on their farm. Later Jack changed his name from Sheehan to his grandfather's name, Woodman. He was a graduate of Harvard University with a double PHD in Mathematics and Nuclear Physics. He also served our country during the Vietnam Conflict. After that he found his true passion as an over the road truck driver with Springfield trucking where he was employed for 37 years until he retired.
Jack got saved at the age of 80 after Pastor Futrell showed him a Tebow video on John 3:16. Jack was a huge New England Patriots Fan and enjoyed watching and playing golf. He went home to Jesus and joined his wife Brenda, his mother Gloria, and his great granddaughter Zizi on April 10th, 2025. He is leaving behind his only daughter Judith, his dog Max, his six grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
He was a true patriot and a loyal conservative. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him, until we see him again.
