Whitson, Jack
Age 74, of Centerville, passed away Friday December, 17, 2021. He was born 9-2-1947 in Lodi, OH and raised in Orrville, OH. He was preceded in death by his parents Margaret (Tschantz) and Neil Whitson. He is survived by his wife Karyn, children Lee (Lori) Whitson and Kerry (Grant) Brown, grandchildren, Annie and Russell Whitson and Nolan and Morgan Brown all of Centerville, his brother Ned (Mick Getz) Whitson of Wooster OH, and his beloved dogs Daisy and Poppy.
After high school, Jack served his country in the Marine Corp 2nd Marine Division as a member of the Fleet Marine Forces during the Vietnam War. He later graduated from Cleveland State University with a degree in Physical Therapy. His career spanned 40 years specializing in pediatrics with his last 19 years spent as a school based Physical Therapist within Dayton Public Schools before retiring in 2014.
Special thanks to the staff at Hospice of Dayton, Buckeye unit for their dedicated care during Jack's final days.
In memory of Jack, donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton or any animal welfare agency.
