McDANIEL, Jack W. age 75 passed away June 26, 2011.
He is preceded in death by parents, Virgil and Lillian McDaniel; son, Kenneth McDaniel; and by three brothers and five sisters.
He is survived by daughter, Virgie (Mark) Fietsch; sons, David (Tammy) McDaniel, Dennis McDaniel, and Doug (Theresa) McDaniel; siblings, Virginia Strausbaugh, Carolyn "Pat" Bowling, Robert McDaniel, and Virgil (Loraine) McDaniel; aunt, Mary McDaniel; 12 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He served in the United States Marine Corps and was a member of VFW Dayton post 2800. Jack retired from Western Southern Life Insurance Co. after many years and worked for Meals on Wheels. He was also an avid Buckeye and Reds fan. The family would like to thank the staff and nurses at Wright Nursing Home in Fairborn for their care and support over the years.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 28, 2011 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home-North, 4104 Needmore Rd. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at 10:30 am at the funeral home. His son, Pastor David McDaniel will be officiating.
