Jack Swanton

SWANTON, Jack, age 80, of Kettering, passed away Sunday, October 14, 2007. He is survived by Frances, his loving wife of 60 years; son, Jeff Swanton and wife Chonda of Carlisle; daughter-in-law, Margie Swanton of Chicago, IL; grandchildren, Laura Garrett, Aaron Swanton, of Chicago, IL, Jaci Swanton, Rachel Swanton, Brad Swanton, all of Carlisle; brother Bill Swanton of AZ; sister Carol Ann Capoly of FL; brother Tom Swanton of CA; and numerous other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his son Mike Swanton and parents Russell and Dorothy and Grandma Jess. Jack was a member of the Masons, Aero Lodge no. 648,F.&A.M. of Dayton, and Otterbein United Methodist Church for over 50 years. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed watching his grandchildren. The family will receive friends Thursday October 18, 2007 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd. from 12-2 PM. Funeral services will immediately follow at 2 PM. Interment will be held at Woodland Cemetery.
