Jack R. Porter

Porter, Jack R., age 88, of Blue Ash, passed away on Sunday, November 30, 2008 at his home. Jack was a United States Army Capt. proudly serving our country during WWII. Jack previously owned operated Porter Engineering and Porter Electronics for 41 years.

Jack is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Rita (Hasselbeck) Porter; daughters Nancy Porter of St. Augustine, FL; Jennifer and husband Jack Ford of The Villages, FL; son Richard Porter of Cincinnati; brother Wilbur and wife Betty Porter of Cincinnati and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Mayme and Guy Porter and his previous wife Dr. Marjorie Mills Porter.

A Memorial service will be held 1:00 pm Saturday, December 6, 2008 at Nurre-Mihovk-Rosenacker Funeral Home 10211 Plainfield Road in Cincinnati, with Father Mike Leshney officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm until time of the memorial service. Entombment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Mausoleum.
