Jack Wayne Niswonger

Jack Wayne Niswonger, age 77 of Centerville, passed away on Sunday, June 5, 2022. He was born on September 18, 1944 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Dale and Grace Niswonger. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Dale L. Niswonger.

Jack is survived by his beloved wife of 47 years, Beth Niswonger; four children, Tracy (Rickey) Hite, Jack D. Niswonger, Tim (Amy) Niswonger, and Elizabeth (Bill) Christon; eight grandchildren, Jacob Hite, Sierra Mason, Michael Hite, Benjamin Hite, Tashawn Christon, Lillian Niswonger, Beckett Niswonger, and Coraly Niswonger; one great-grandson, Wyatt Berger; brother, Jim (Patty) Niswonger; nephew, Joe (Rachel) Niswonger. He is also survived by numerous family and friends.

He was a 1962 graduate from Brookville High School and later attended Sinclair Community College for civil engineering. Jack was the treasurer of PERI Chapter 6 and volunteered at the voting polls. He enjoyed bowling, diamond painting, paracord crafts, and woodworking. The most important thing to Jack was his family and he loved to watch the grandchildren play sports. He is well loved and will be deeply missed.

The family hopes those who would like to honor him will find a quiet time to remember who he was in your life and be thankful for the time you had together. In lieu of a public funeral service, individual families are encouraged to have their own private memorial. He will be laid to rest at Miami Valley Memory Gardens located at 1639 E Lytle 5 Points Rd, Centerville, OH 45458.
