Lukacs, Jack, Anthony age 63 of Beavercreek Ohio passed away peacefully at home on December 11th 2019.
Born in 1956 to John and Marjorie Lukacs in Englewood Ohio, Jack stayed in the Dayton area his entire life, ultimately moving to Beavercreek with his family. After a 50 year working career, Jack retired in August of 2018. After a four year term of service in the United States Army Jack became an automobile mechanic, and went on to become service manager until eventually becoming an instructor of Automotive Technology at Sinclair College.
An avid sportsman, Jack enjoyed marksmanship, angling, golf, and baseball. Jack was a lifelong learner who enjoyed getting a chance to take anything apart and see how it worked, and was (almost) always able to put it back together. Jack belonged to the National Rifle Association, Magyar Club of Dayton, and Greene County Fish and Game. He was a reader, an excellent cook, and the friend everyone hoped they could talk to at a social engagement. Above all, Jack was a proud father and dedicated husband to his wife Tina.
In addition to his many friends and extended family, Jack is survived by his wife Katina, sons Matt (Jennifer), Tyler (Renee-Claude), Marshall, Logan, and grandson Cole.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Sunday, December 15, 2019 from 3-5:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, Beavercreek Chapel. A Memorial Service will take place at 5:00 pm.
