Jack Lee Nuthman, age 85, of Beavercreek, passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at V.A. Medical Center-Hospice. He was born November 24, 1929 in Princeton, IN.
Jack was a decorated Korean War Veteran serving in the U.S Army. He enjoyed his life playing golf, spending time working his gold mine claims and chasing brownies.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gerald Nuthman; mother, Opal Easter; wife, Elvira Nuthman; son, Jerry Nuthman and granddaughter, Kristina Wigglesworth.
Jack is survived by two daughters, Robin (Ken) Nuthman-Green and Kimberly (Charles) Nuthman-Rains; son, Richard (Marie) Nuthman; daughter-in-law, Roxanne Nuthman; two step-daughters, Hortensia Rainey and Cecilia Saldana; two sisters, Joy Calvert and Mary Ellen (Bill) Beaty; brother, Charles Easter and special longtime friend, Saber Zell. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A private memorial service will be held on a later date. The family would like to thank the Dayton VA Patton Place and Hospice for the loving and compassionate care they provided for Jack and the family.
