Jack L. Yochem
Age 82, of Centerville, passed away Thursday, April 26, 2012, at The Hospice of Butler & Warren Counties.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents, Forrest W. & Mary Alice (Johnson) Yochem; and by one sister, Jean Kriegbaum.
Jack is survived by his wife of the past 34 years, Marilyn (Frix) Yochem; two children, Chris Yochem & Candyce O'Connor; their mother, Patricia Yochem; two step-children, Janet (Douglas) Taylor & Carol Collins; seven grandchildren, Michel Collins, Kimberly (Neil) Jaffe, Stacy (Brett) Reckart, Shaun Yochem, Nicole Yochem, Kathleen O'Connor & Maura O'Connor; seven great grandchildren; his beloved poodle, Phoebe Louise; and by his extended family & many good friends.
Jack retired from Dayton Daily News as the Retail Advertising Manager in 1983 with 30 years of service. He was an avid golfer, former member of Walnut Grove Country Club (Dayton), Palmetto Pine County Club & Faith Presbyterian Church (Cape Coral, Florida).
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, contributions should be made in memory of Jack to The Hospice of Butler & Warren Counties or to Faith Presbyterian Church.
