Jack Edward Lovelace, age 78, passed away Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at his home in Medway, Ohio surrounded by his family. Jack was born in Dayton, Ohio March 2, 1936.
He was preceded in death by his parents and all of his brothers and sisters, his loving wife - Bonnie Lovelace, an infant son – Christopher Lovelace, his granddaughter - Molly Beth Lewis, and a son-in-law – Dan Owen.
Jack is survived by his five children – Lori Owen, Beth Kiger and her husband, Sonny, Jackie Barker and her husband, John, Scott Lovelace and his wife, Kristina, and Andrew Lovelace and his wife, Ginger. He leaves behind nine (9) grandchildren – Jacob Lewis, Matt Lovelace, Mark Grogg, Gavin Walker, Logan Walker, Zachary Lovelace, Alexandria Lovelace, Jaxson Lovelace, and Macy Lovelace and four (4) great-grandchildren – Allie Lovelace, Carson Lovelace, Kael Lewis and Jaxton Grogg. Also surviving are his nephews and nieces and their children across the country.
The family would like to take this opportunity to thank the friends and relatives who helped get Jack to and from doctor's appointments while we had to work and who sat with him during the day before full time nursing care became necessary.
We would also like to thank the relatives, friends and complete strangers who have and who are donating from their hearts and wallets in order to provide us with the additional funds needed for this service and for dad's burial.
Visitation 10am-1pm Friday, Aug, 29th 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home - Beavercreek Chapel, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, where funeral services will begin at 1 pm Friday. Interment will be held at Medway Cemetery.
