Age 75 of Riverside, passed away on Sunday, October 15, 2006 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born on July 29, 1931, in Dayton, the son of William and Goldie Burns. He is preceded in death by his parents, and his loving wife, Evelyn Burns.
Survivors include his daughter, Tonya Welch of Troy; sons, Ron and Rick Burns, of Riverside, and step-son, Kenny Lawson of Tipp City; 14 grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave., Dayton, Ohio or Passport of Dayton. Arrangements are in care of Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, Ohio.
