Brookshire, Jack T. age 88, of Moraine, passed away Monday, July 12, 2021.

He was born September 30, 1932, in Dayton, OH, and is preceded in death by his parents Sherman and Mable Brookshire, his wife, Faye Brookshire, and his son Gregory Wayne Brookshire.

Jack celebrated 66 years of marriage to Faye and is survived by his sons, Mark Brookshire; Jeff Brookshire; James Brookshire, wife Nancy (Trimble) Brookshire; Chris Brookshire, wife Katie (Anello) Brookshire; daughter-in-law Debbie (Wright) Brookshire; grandchildren, Lindsey Maxwell (Seth), Chad Brookshire, Shane Brookshire (Brittney), Hannah Robinson (Kameron), Rachael Brookshire; ten great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Jack is also survived by his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Paul and Gaye Shiveley; nieces Donna Schnieder (Greg), Cindy Christian (Mike), and Denise Shiveley (Brent Bartley).

Jack was a proud Navy veteran who served during the Korean War on the aircraft carrier USS Princeton. Jack was a loyal employee of Frito-Lay, where he was one of few people who worked there for over fifty years. Jack was an avid animal lover who had pets all of his life. He never turned down an animal in need and provided many strays a home.

The family will have a private memorial service.
