Izella Satterfield

Izella Louise Satterfield, age 73 of Dayton, passed away December 10, 2010. She was born November 7, 1937 in Dayton to the late Ernest and Chloe Rife. In addition to her parents, Izella was preceded in death by her husband, Garry R. Satterfield; daughter, Cheryl Satterfield; granddaughter, Ashley Butler; and sister, Sandra Cramer.

Izella is survived by her children: Gerald (Christine) Scott, Carole (Steven) Ireland, Garry R. Satterfield, Jr., Brenda Norman, and Tonya Satterfield; 12 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; sisters: Delores Koehler, Ruth Quast, Betty Baker, Sue Ann (Ray) Schirmer and Sharon Motasky; brother, Ernest (Sharon) Rife; many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 1:30 pm on Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, Ohio 45424, where the family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service, 12:30 – 1:30 pm. Pastor Dan Mullins officiating. Burial to follow at Beavertown Cemetery, 3170 Valleywood Drive, Kettering, Ohio 45429.
