Ives E. King Jr.

KING JR., Ives E. age 77 of New Carlisle, passed away Thursday, February 2, 2006 at his home. He was preceded in death by his parents Ives Sr. and Dorothy King and his brothers John, David and Carl T. King. He is survived by Hazel, his loving wife of 43 years, his children Pam and husband Rod Stanley of Moraine, Melissa and husband Perry Wheeler of Waycross, GA; grandchildren Brandelyn Brown, Stephen Brown, Victoria Wheeler, Alex Wheeler, Austin Stanley, Dylan Wheeler; great grandchildren Taylor and Tyler Thornhill and Cameron Bridges; brothers James King and Eugene and wife Maggie King both of Fort Pierce FL; sister Betsy and husband John Grandstaff of Virginia Beach, VA; and a host of other relatives and friends. Ives served our country in the US Army during the Korean War. He retired from the Chrysler Corp. after 29 years of service and was a member of the North Ridge Freewill Baptist Church. Funeral services will be 10:00 am Monday, February 6, 2006 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, with Pastor Tim Hamilton officiating. Family will receive friends from 1-3 pm Sunday at the funeral home. Interment at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
