A memorial graveside service for Isabelle Mae Graham, 96, will be held at Miami Valley Memory Gardens on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at 10:00am. Isabelle, of Kettering, Ohio, passed away December 18, 2021, at The Sanctuary at Wilmington Place in Dayton, Ohio. Having grown up in Dayton, she made her home in Van Buren Township and Kettering from 1945 to 2012. Born to Edward and Forest Watson on November 4, 1925, she was the second youngest of four children. She was married for 63 years to Leo Gene Graham of Dayton, was the mother of 5 children and enjoyed her 10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Gene, and brothers Carl, Gilbert, and Kenneth. She is survived by her daughter Sandy Trittschuh and husband Jim, son Doug and wife Ann (Leidel); son Ken and wife Linda (Hohman), and daughters Jeanie Purtee and Lori Graham.
She was a 1943 graduate of Stivers High School in Dayton. During her life, she was a dedicated volunteer in Girl Scouts of America and an active member of the Church of the Cross (United Methodist Church). She was employed by Kettering City Schools, enjoyed the outdoors, and was an accomplished competitive bowler. Most of all she was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who always put her family first.
The memorial graveside service will begin at 10 AM on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at Miami Valley Memorial Gardens (1639 E Lytle 5 Points Rd, Centerville, OH 45458). In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donating to DayCity Hospice and the Alzheimers Association, in her memory.
