Irvin Eugene Coffey

Irvin "Irv" Coffey, golfer forever, of Kettering, passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2022. He was originally from Vallonia, Indiana and born to the late Glen and Iva Mae Coffey.
Irv was loved by all, was a true gentleman, and was described as someone who always tried to make sure that the people around him were as comfortable as possible. His favorite place was the golf course and was blessed enough to be able to golf around the world.
Irv is survived by his daughters, Pami Coffey, Deb (Dave) Haley and Tree Coffey; siblings Deannie Lee, Donovan (Mary Alice) Coffey and Sue Ellison; grandchildren, Melissa and Michael Inal. He is also survived by numerous family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 60 years Dee, his son Mike Coffey and sister Evelyn.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 pm until the funeral service at 4:00 pm on Saturday, May 21, 2022 at Newcomer Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432. In lieu of flowers, donations in Irv's honor can be made to the charity of your choice.
