FREEZE, Irma, age 69, of Springfield, passed away on May 31, 2013. She is preceded in death by her husband, Willie Melton; first husband, Ochel (Dutch) Rollins; parents, Clyde and Gladys Durst, and brothers, Dwight, Albert, and Brycel Durst.
Irma is survived by her daughters, Loretta (Mike) Adams, Tammy Rollins, Teresa Alcorn, Pam Rollins, and Sherry (Rob) McClanahan of Springfield; 20 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; sisters, Carol (Gene) Jenkins of Middleport, OH, Marilyn (Jerry) Dean, Nancy Durst of WV; brothers, Orlin (Geneva) Durst of WV, Gary (Linda) Durst, and Mike (Portia) Durst of Springfield, OH.
She was a member of the Lighthouse Church. Irma was devoted to God and her family, who she loved very much. She will always be remembered for her kind and generous ways, her common sense, as well as her sense of humor.
Family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 pm on Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at the Jesus Only Church, 512 Kinnane Ave., Springfield, OH. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at the church. Burial will follow at Dayton National Cemetery.
