Irene B. Hurst, age 85, of Dayton, OH passed away March 13, 2017. She was born February 12, 1932 in Jackson, KY to Malcolm and Effie Barrett. She was preceded in death by her parents; and three brothers: Claude, Lloyd and Bobby Barrett.
Irene is survived by her husband of 64 years, Joseph L. Hurst; daughter, Debra L. Hurst; son and daughter-in-law: J. Michael and Jamie W. Hurst; grandsons: Jacob M. and Lucas M. Hurst; sister, Laura Jean Young; and many other family and friends.
Visitation will be held from 9:30-10:30 am on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, where the funeral service will begin at 10:30 am. Burial to follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery, 8135 North Dixie Drive.
