Ira Frederick Morgan, Jr. age 42 of Riverside, Ohio, passed away Friday, May 17, 2019. He was born January 28, 1977 in Dayton, Ohio the son of Ira "Buddy" and Cindy Morgan.
Ira was a loving son, husband, father, brother and uncle to whom he passed on his love for family. He loved his kids very much and enjoyed spoiling and being goofy with them. He cherished time spent with his kids when they were back in town and enjoyed watching movies and feeding his grand-dogs. Ira and his son-in-law, Garrett spent hours looking at and talking about pocket knives and teasing Garrett about his beard. He loved spending time with his best friend/wife, Amy, even though they always aggravated each other. At the end of the day, they would always ask each other "You're still my best friend, right?"
Ira enjoyed working at the family business, Greater Dayton Moving & Storage, with his dad. Much like Ira did with his own kids, his parents liked to spoil him. His mother was his saving grace. He was the protector of his little sis and would do anything for her. Ira will be so missed by his family who will never forget him. Ira adored his nieces and nephew. When his own children moved off to college, his nieces and nephew, affectionately known as his "lil uglies" moved in.
He loved to help people to the best of his ability no matter how long it would take and would gladly give the shirt off his back (what was left of it). A perfectionist, he loved to make his yard look great. He also loved fast cars and trucks. He could often be found working on his Harley with his brother-in-law and best friend, Ryan and hanging out at Texas Roadhouse or Frickers. He loved the gym, tanning, wearing glasses and his jewelry. He enjoyed going to car shows and races with his parents. Whatever Ira wanted, his parents made sure he had. Ira always wore his Superman necklace signifying what he meant to his great nieces and nephews.
Ira was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mary Morgan, Orville Morgan, Walter and Vivian Jackson; mother-in-law, Shirley Morgan; and nephew, Shaun Combs.
Ira "The Mayor of Poundtown" Morgan will be missed by his loving wife of 20 years, Amy; daughter, Taylor Morgan (Garrett Schock); son, Ira Frederick Morgan, III; parents, Ira "Buddy" and Cindy Morgan; sister, Heather (Ryan) Doseck; nieces and nephew, Alexis, Ryan Jr. and Jadah Doseck his "lil uglies"; step-grandmother, Phyllis Morgan; fur grandbabies, Maddie, Peanut, Cali, Winston "Bubba" and Mocha "Mowgli" and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, family members and friends.
