Iona Dean Parrish

Iona Dean Parrish, age 87, of Middletown passed away on April 7, 2022. She was born on March 27, 1935 in St. Albans, WV to the late Dolly and Rolla Williams. In addition to her parents, Iona was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Clark Alden Parrish; brother Duwain Williams and sister Romona Williams.

She is survived by daughters Teresa (Robert) McBain, Carol Huf and Patricia Parrish; brother, David Williams; grandchildren Shawn Blevins, Stephen George and Brent McBain; great grandchildren June, Jesse, Dallas, Huxly and Emersyn Blevins and Bruce, Brandon and Brent McBain.

Iona loved to add to her collection of treasures searching local flea markets and garage sales. She also enjoyed working in the yard and tending to her extensive variety of flowers. She was a devout Christian and a longtime member of over 35 years at Grace Baptist Church in Middletown, where her husband also served as deacon.

Family welcomes friends and family to join them for funeral services at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 14, 2022 inside the chapel at Butler County Memorial Park, 4570 Trenton Oxford Rd., Trenton, Ohio 45011, officiated by Chad Vickers.
