Iona F. Byrd

Byrd, Iona F., of Dayton, passed away on October 31, 2008 on her 76th birthday after a brief illness. She is preceded in death by 2 sisters. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Daniel C. Byrd; children, Ron Byrd and Darlene Moore; granddaughters, Stacie Moore, Angela Byrd, & Brittany Byrd; great-grandson, Rowan Moore; 2 sisters; and 3 brothers. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM on Monday, November 3, 2008 at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, Ohio. Interment will follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 1 PM until the time of services.
